Job Opportunity

This temporary full-time position is available for a Head of Department (Curriculum) to lead whole-school curriculum planning and implementation across P-9.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion quality teaching and learning programs to support positive outcomes for every student.
  • Collaborate as part of the Leadership Team to shape school-wide initiatives.
  • Mentor pre-service and beginning teachers, nurturing the next generation of educators.
  • Drive meaningful data conversations to celebrate achievements and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Build strong professional relationships and inspire a culture of continuous improvement.

As part of this role, you will work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve shared goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to colleagues, particularly in areas related to curriculum development and implementation.

Requirements:
  • A current Queensland Government employee eligible to apply.
  • Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
