About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at SSE Enterprise Utilities. As a key member of our Distributed Energy business, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of Heat Networks projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-construction activities on allocated heat networks opportunities, ensuring feasibility and identifying construction risks and costs.
  • Support the engineering team in optioneering based on buildability and act as the team representative in planning site works.
  • Be the point of contact for clients and external stakeholders on construction aspects of the project.

Requirements

  • Site-based experience in the delivery of Heat Networks.
  • Working understanding of BS EN standards.
  • Competent in the use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Experience in producing and reviewing critical construction documentation, such as RAMS and CPP.
  • Ability to quantify construction risks and communicate them within a project team.
