Journalist Position

Southern Cross Austereo is looking for a journalist to be based in Bendigo, Victoria.

The person will be primarily assigned to cover news developments in Bendigo and as far as the Macedon Ranges. The content produced will be for SCA's FM stations and digital radio services.

This role involves presenting news in a conversational tone and submitting reports within deadlines. Proficiency in NewsBoss, and familiarity with the Bendigo community may be considered.

Key Requirements
  • A minimum of one year's experience in a commercial radio environment
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines
