We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Host/Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience, ensuring seamless table management, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a timely and courteous manner, making them feel welcome and valued.
• Manage table assignments, seating plans, and waitlists to ensure efficient service and minimize wait times.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and other support staff to ensure seamless execution of orders and requests.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, including payments, tips, and cash handling procedures.
• Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Process takeout and delivery orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely completion and high-quality service.
• Promote a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among colleagues.
• Perform opening and closing duties, adhering to established protocols and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume food service or cashiering/money handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including menu knowledge, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems.
• Basic math skills, with accuracy and attention to detail when handling cash and credit transactions.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to perform various tasks. The employee must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have good vision, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. Specific vision abilities required include depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Casino environment can be hectic, fast-paced, and crowded, with exposure to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant public interaction.
