Job Overview
The Production Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. Key responsibilities include transporting materials, products, and equipment to designated areas within the facility. This involves loading and unloading goods onto wrapping machines, moving packed pallets or crates around storage facilities, and stacking goods according to inventory control instructions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Transport materials, products, or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility
- Loading and unloading goods on wrapping machine
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays following inventory control instructions
- Checking loads are secure
- Stacking empty pallets
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift's battery and lubricating equipment
- Removing waste wraps or material from pallets
- Examining empty pallets to verify conformance to quality standards
- Dumping waste wraps or materials into waste collection bag
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a factory environment is essential
- A valid Work Safe Forklift license is mandatory
- Experience with the use of a forklift is also required
