Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marine Platform UI Engineer to join our team at Brunswick, a world leader in recreational marine vessels and propulsion. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge autonomous technology solutions for our valued customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, with experience in industry-leading game engines such as Unreal, Unity, Godot, etc. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom, reusable UI components on the Android platform, as well as advanced visualizations and renderings using Game Engines. Additionally, you will monitor and maintain efficient application/rendering performance, practice Agile methodology, and follow best practices for software development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality, interactive 2D/3D applications based on real-time environmental data.
  • Develop reusable UI components and layouts on the Android platform.
  • Maintain robust front/backend communications for components and visualizations.
  • Author and maintain design documentation and functional specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience in industry-leading game engines such as Unreal, Unity, Godot, etc.
  • In-depth experience in Android, Java, Python, and C/C++.
  • Strong software background with complex software systems programming and development.
Benefits
