This role offers the opportunity to work within a Global FP&A team, accountable to the APAC Drilling products business. Your responsibilities will include delivering insightful reporting and analytics, working with global and local teams on budgeting and forecasting, and supporting key stakeholders with new management reporting and financial modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver timely and accurate financial insights to guide decision-making and drive business performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes.
  3. Support senior stakeholders in managing their requirements for new management reporting and financial modelling.
  4. Provide education to management on financial concepts, including balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  5. Assist with month-end close processes and analysis.
  6. Contribute to process improvements and system development to optimize outcomes.
  7. Offer advanced financial analytics and competitor/trend analysis to the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting or related field.
  • Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CPA).
  • Understanding of the drilling industry is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience within large, complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through financial and commercial insight.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Advanced Excel skills and previous use of ERP systems are well-regarded.
