Teaching Mathematics and/or Religious Education

We are seeking a dedicated educator with a strong background in Mathematics and/or Religious Education to join our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a positive impact on the lives of students in Years 7–9.

About You

You will be a passionate and experienced teacher who can deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support diverse learners and foster curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. Your teaching should be grounded in creativity, clarity, and care, whether you're guiding students through foundational mathematical concepts or encouraging thoughtful reflection on faith, values, and ethical living.

In this role, you will create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and develop confidence in their abilities. Your excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit will enable you to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to the vibrant community at Galen Catholic College.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Mathematics and/or Religious Education to students in Years 7–9 in a manner that aligns with the curriculum and school values.
  • Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences that support diverse learners and foster curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom where students feel empowered to ask questions and develop confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the faith-based community and holistic education approach at Galen Catholic College.
