Urgent Care Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Urgent Care Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting.

This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes and working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Triage and Assessment: Identify suitable patients for our urgent care clinic and promptly triage them.
  • Front-line Care: Provide front-line care while working alongside general practitioners and doctors.
  • Nursing Assessments and Interventions: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement nursing interventions with a commitment to quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice.
  • Patient Education: Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Current authority to practice as EN/EEN/RN with the Australian Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in an urgent care nursing or high dependency care environment (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Certifications: Current CPR or ALS certificate.
  • Skills: Effective clinical communication skills, including proficiency with information technology, and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Autonomy and Time Management: Ability to work autonomously and delegate when required. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking abilities.
