Special Education Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide targeted educational support to students with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registered teacher qualification with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Experience working with students who have special education needs and diverse learning profiles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ideal candidate will possess high-level collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with parents, staff, and external professionals. They will also have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with diverse learning needs
  • Provide targeted educational support to students in classrooms and small group settings
  • Collaborate with the Director of Learning Support and LEAPS Coordinator to ensure consistent implementation of education plans
