About the Role:
- As an Electrical/Instrument Tradesperson, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing a wide variety of electrical and instrumentation industrial equipment.
- You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the mill's electrical and instrumentation systems.
- With a strong focus on safety, you will be required to possess a proven safety record and be physically fit.
- Competency in HV Switching programs and issuing HV Permits is essential, as is trade experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
- You will be required to work shifts and may be required to take part in abilities testing as part of the recruitment process.
Requirements:
- Current High Voltage (HV) Operator, RIC, HV Isolation experience required.
- Competency utilizing HV Switching programs and issuing HV Permits.
- Trade experience in maintaining, installing and repairing a wide variety of electrical and instrumentation industrial equipment.
- Ability to carry out shift work.
- Proven safety record.
- Physically fit.
- Car, High risk, RB, LF and WP licenses.
- Maintenance Rigging Skills Basic Welding skills Previous experience in heavy industry Experience with auxiliary equipment
