About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Markets Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As part of our global trading team, you will be responsible for pricing and risk management for the portfolio during the Asia and peripheral time zones. You will be part of a fast-growing regional team as part of a global company.

This is an onsite job located in Sydney, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing spot, forward, and options to clients.
  • Maintenance of the GPS online dealing platform (FXpert).
  • FX Structuring.
  • Trade execution with liquidity providers.
  • Manage target balances.
  • Prepare commentaries and hedging idea generation.
  • Cashflow management of portfolio via FX Swaps.
  • FX Contract and Option Lifecycle management.
  • Management Reporting.
  • Additional Project Work.
  • Complete internal certifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance or equivalent discipline.
  • Good understanding and passion for financial markets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Team focused.
  • Ability to find solutions to complex client problems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Right to work in Australia (permanent residency or citizenship).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills; written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in FX or another financial asset class will be beneficial but not essential.
  • A consistent record of high achievement.
  • Some programming and general IT skills.
  • Well organized and metric driven.
  • Self-motivated with a constant sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of information sources, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Trading Platforms.
