About the Role:

As a senior leader, you will oversee the Water Resource Service for a City within a World Heritage area. Your key responsibility is to coordinate and lead Council's Healthy Waterways Team in delivering waterway health monitoring, environmental education and community conservation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate and support delivery of strategies, policies and programs to enhance Council's management of water resources
  • Work collaboratively with Traditional Custodians, community and Government to achieve positive change
  • Lead and manage teams, influencing others in cross-organisational and external settings

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated industry experience as a collaborative team leader
  • Relevant skills and knowledge in water management and conservation
  • Able to work effectively in cross-cultural settings
