Detecting Financial Threats

This role will be based in our Head Office and will report to the Manager - Customer Protection.
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for fraud detection and investigation, with experience in the banking sector or relevant financial services.
- Monitor fraud detection alerts and reports to identify potential threats and prevent fraudulent activities.
- Investigate and resolve complex cases, including recovery of funds, in line with industry guidelines.
- Maintain open communication with customers regarding case status and provide timely updates.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A positive attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Relevant tertiary or diploma qualification, preferably in a related field.
