Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service, ensuring that customers have an exceptional experience at our warehouse.\
• Maintains current product knowledge of bakery items, staying up-to-date on the latest offerings and promotions.\
• Ensures accurate and efficient packaging of baked goods, adhering to quality standards and food safety guidelines.\
• Assists with front-end duties as necessary, providing additional support to ensure a smooth shopping experience.\
• Supports other departments within the warehouse as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.\
• Follows Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the day.\
• Completes and complies with Costco policies related to Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all Safety training required by the warehouse and department.\
• Assists with monthly inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tracking and reporting.\
• Performs other tasks as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.\
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with colleagues and management, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.\
• Previous experience in a bakery or customer service role highly desirable.\
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.\
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.\
• Familiarity with quality control and food safety procedures beneficial.
