Painter Position in SilverwaterWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our dynamic team in Silverwater, NSW 2128. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, selecting and applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:- Surface Preparation: Remove old paint, fill holes, and repair imperfections to ensure a smooth finish.
- Paint Application: Select and prepare paint and finishes according to specifications, and apply them using appropriate tools.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets our standards and customer expectations.
- Tool Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide advice, and address any concerns.
- Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Qualification: Relevant qualification at Certificate III level.
- Experience: At least two years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork ability.
- Independence: Able to work efficiently with and without supervision.
- Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to painting and construction.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 - $105,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
