About the Role

The Central Coast Council is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing haulage services to support our council's operations, delivering quality customer service, and creating value for the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy rigid vehicles to transport goods and materials to and from our depots and other locations.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with our logistics team to optimize transportation routes and schedules, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A current Heavy Rigid Driver's Licence.
  • A current SafeWork NSW general construction induction card.
  • A current working near overhead powerlines accreditation or commitment to obtain within a specified time.
  • A current RMS NSW Traffic Control Stop/Slow accreditation or commitment to obtain within a specified time.

  • A competitive salary range of $57k - $68k plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • A Level 1 Adverse working conditions allowance of $18.92 per week.
