Centurion Asia Pacific Rental & Services is part of Centurion Group, a global leader in the supply of critical rentals and services to the oil & gas, infrastructure, power, environmental and renewable energy industries. Centurion employs over 2,300 people operates around 87 facilities in over 13 countries.

This position is responsible for comprehensive financial management tasks such as end-of-month processing, taxation obligations, income recognition, cash flow management and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include providing accurate financial information to stakeholders, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and assisting in financial reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle invoicing and accounts receivable/payable processes.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Managing the general ledger, accounts payable and payroll functions
  • Managing the month-end accounting process and preparation of monthly financial accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly Group management reporting
  • Managing statutory returns and compliance, income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns
  • Managing the statutory audit process, including co-ordination and liaison with external auditors
  • Cash flow reporting to management
  • Addressing and resolving financial queries
  • Assist the GM with budgeting and forecasting requirements
  • A focus on increasing business performance and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in a senior finance or accounting role
  • Highly developed knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team and use initiative
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and meet deadlines
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential
  • Prior experience and proficiency with Sage and/or Insphire ERP's desirable
