Job Title

Mine Site Cleaner / Utility - Ravenswood (3007)

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the mine site facilities.
  • Performing general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
  • Ensuring all areas are kept sanitary and safe for all personnel.
  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and machinery.
  • Assisting with laundry services when required.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Supporting other departments with basic utility tasks as needed.
Additional Tasks for Utility Role
  • Setting up and clearing dining rooms.
  • Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas.
  • Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Providing fast, effective service during busy periods with a positive attitude.
  • Assisting the broader team as required.
  • Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods.
  • Dining Room Duties - maintaining cleanliness, stock, and crib food levels.
  • Housekeeping Duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed).
  • Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning.
  • Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses.
