Plumbing Trainee

School-based Traineeships at the Reece Group offer a unique opportunity for Year 10 students to gain hands-on experience in a real-world work environment while pursuing a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. This exciting program is designed to equip young individuals with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the plumbing industry.

As a School-based Trainee, you will be partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd and work alongside experienced professionals at a Reece branch. Your role will involve completing certificate requirements, such as workbooks and on-the-job training and assessments, while developing essential skills in customer service, sales processing, stock management, and communication.

The ideal candidate will possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, enthusiasm, and a great attitude. You should also be willing to learn new things, work as part of a team, maintain a neat and tidy workplace, and be well-presented. Students are expected to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week, with Saturday availability being a requirement. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.
