Technical Services Director

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Services Director to lead the management, provision, support, and availability of our enterprise technical services.
About the RoleThis key leadership position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of critical technical services in line with defined service levels.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the management and provision of technical services
- Owning incident escalations and service restoration
- Managing technical staff, including performance reviews and career development
- Overseeing the prioritisation of service delivery based on business needs
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities for efficiency
- Supporting a wide range of technologies and resolving complex technical issues
- Ensuring availability of services 24/7 in alignment with SLAs and KPIs
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or IT operations role
- Proven experience managing technical support and service delivery functions in a complex environment
- Strong working knowledge of ITSM tools, particularly ServiceNow
- Experience managing full lifecycle of IT service tickets (incidents, tasks, escalations)
- Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Exceptional planning, time management, and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, presentations, and training material
