We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Expert to join our team in Amazon Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OH&S and be able to effectively implement safety improvements, identify compliance issues, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation measures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions.
2. Develop and implement effective safety policies and procedures.
3. Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols.
4. Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• A completed tertiary qualification (undergraduate or postgraduate) in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations.
