Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Shift Electrician to join our team at our Bakery manufacturing site in Moorebank, Sydney. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical equipment, attending to breakdowns, and maintaining high levels of technical expertise.

Estimated Salary Range

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $145,000 per annum, based on national averages for similar positions in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out regular preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Utilize high-level technical skills, including fault finding of electrical circuits and PLC programs, to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
  3. Participate in repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipment, working closely with operations personnel to ensure reliability and safety standards are met.
  4. Demonstrate and promote safe work practices throughout the facility, identifying and resolving potential hazards.
  5. Work closely with colleagues to improve equipment reliability and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • An Electrical Trade Certificate/Licence is essential for this role.
  • Cert 4 Post trade Industrial electronics or higher equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is required.
  • PLC Knowledge, particularly with Allan Bradley systems, is essential.
  • Processed-based risk assessment skills are necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
