We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Surgical Ward on a Part-Time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
Nepean Private Hospital is a modern 109-bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community. Our hospital is equipped with eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre, and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.
We are investing in our future with an exciting $38M redevelopment, which will see our Hospital grow to meet the needs of our growing community. As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice
- Medication-endorsed ENs may administer medications according to state law and organisational policy
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years' EN experience in an acute hospital setting
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Valid NSW Working with Children check
- Enrolled Nurse qualification
- Advanced level of clinical skills
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused
- Monitoring and Administering IV Medications qualifications will be held in high regard

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement, a salary ranging from $34.96 per hour.
