Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team at Optus. As a key member of our project management team, you'll be responsible for delivering complex ICT technology deployments, customer experience/employee experience (CX/EX) projects, security solutions, and campus 4G/5G long-term evolution (LTE) network deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Optus customers to provide excellent project management services and deliver project outcomes on time and on budget.
  • Work closely with Optus Enterprise and Business Customer Experience (CX), Pre-sales and Solution Architects, and Optus external partnered vendors.
  • Manage project scope, scheduling, resource management, supplier management, financial management, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and oversee work packages for third-party vendors, with advanced skills in project scope, resource, and budget management.
  • Ensure all relevant issues are communicated proactively through clear lines of communication.
  • Manage forecasting of project costs ensuring they are timely and accurate.
  • Feedback to Sales & Presales teams on project performance against scoped solution.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership of geographically dispersed project teams.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, resolving disputes, and ensuring cohesive project delivery.
  • Sound knowledge of Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Agile project management framework.
  • Proven track record in managing several projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated capability to take ownership of projects, providing clear go-to-green plans in resolving issues and driving successful outcomes.
  • Sound financial acumen and ability to track and manage project financials.
  • Proactive self-starter with a focus on quality of delivery.
