  • Provide culturally safe mental health care for people of all ages in the Katherine West region through direct contact with clients and families or by providing advice to other members of the team.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of professional practice and clinical knowledge that incorporates current best practices, education, and research.
  • Undertake thorough mental health assessments, risk assessment, emergency support, treatment, and case management services, and a range of therapeutic interventions to support people and their carers affected by mental health conditions.
  • Actively promote mental health awareness and engage in primary prevention activities (e.g., health promotion) in partnership with relevant agencies, community organisations, key stakeholders, consumers, and carers.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate mental health registered nurse to join our team.
