About this role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Inspection Auditor to join our Asset Inspection Team at AusNet Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting scheduled audits on the Asset Inspection team to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  2. Providing constructive feedback and coaching to inspectors when non-conformances are identified.
  3. Completing audit reports and ensuring timely submission.
  4. Assisting the Asset Inspection Group Leader in the deployment of the Trainee Program and mentoring the trainees.
  5. Delivering internal training as required.
  6. Ensuring compliance through active engagement with stakeholders and maintaining awareness of relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes, and AusNet policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate II in Asset Inspection.
  • VESI Mandatory Skills and Training requirements for an Asset Inspector.
  • The ability to ask smart questions, be curious, and improve at pace.
  • Strong working relationships with others to build on ideas and simplify complexity.
  • Demonstrated success in the role of an Asset Inspector, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
