About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to join our HSEQ team on the Melbourne airport T4 project.

The primary objective of this role is to coordinate and mitigate safety risks on site, to assist in the achievement of project objectives, ensure compliance with SW Safety policy and systems and promote a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor site personnel to improve workplace health and safety on individual sites.
  • Conduct site inspections / audits and provide feedback including associated recommendations to project personnel.
  • Assess risks and opportunities for improving Safety Management.
  • Assist Project Managers in managing workplace health and safety on project sites, including providing timely and relevant advice on all safety related matters.
  • Conduct investigations of accidents and incidents where directed and review incident reports. Provide advice to Project Managers and personnel on corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.

Salary and Benefits

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $95,000-$110,000 AUD per annum.
