">- As a Principal Developer, you will be part of the Operation Solutions team. Your role will involve working closely with integration teams and other development teams to design, build, and commission critical real-time power system operation software solutions.
- Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a development lead within the team, delegating tasks as required and providing thought leadership.
- Engaging with stakeholders, business users, and architecture teams when designing systems.
- Analysing, designing, and developing software programming solutions for major projects and regular releases.
- Organising and participating in requirements and design meetings to contribute to improved solution delivery.
- Ensuring the structure of documentation, architecture, software, and data models is cost-efficient, secure, and reliable.
- Designing and developing efficient solutions to business problems using appropriate modelling tools and techniques.
- Providing guidance in the system project decision-making process.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Proven experience in building software including design, development, and integration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices when developing systems for critical infrastructure.
- Track record of implementing large complex projects.
- Experience in high performing teams running in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid projects.
- Skills in managing software builds, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of delivering enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, Java, Spring Boot, among others.
