Senior Out of School Hours Care Director

About the Role
Talent Focus is partnering with a local P&C to recruit an experienced Senior Out of School Hours Care Director for their OSHC service. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, quality management, program oversight, human resources, and professional engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Policies and Procedures Management: Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies that align with legislative requirements.
- Quality Management: Implementing and maintaining a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Program Oversight: Providing support to the Educational Leader and implementing the educational framework.
- Human Resources: Effective recruitment, induction, performance reviews, and staff development.
- Professional Engagement: Participating in performance reviews, professional development, and community engagement.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Policies: Annual review and update of policies, with quarterly reporting to the P&C OSHC Committee.
- Human Resources: Biannual assessments and effective grievance management.
- Quality Improvement Plan: Ongoing assessment and maintenance of the QIP.
- Compliance: Rigorous oversight and monitoring of compliance with legislation.
- General Management: Efficient enrolment management, budget adherence, and positive stakeholder engagement.
Salary Range: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience in managing OSHC services or similar educational programs.
- Licensing and Certifications: Relevant qualifications and certifications required.
- Skill Set: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage budgets and financial oversight.
