Job Description

As a member of our dedicated team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional care and services that meet the needs of our residents. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment that promotes resident well-being.

Key responsibilities include ensuring all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard. This includes vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors as well as dusting, polishing, and general tidying. You will also be responsible for cleaning bathroom facilities and attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables, and other equipment or furniture located in their room.

We are committed to providing a high-quality service that prioritizes infection control practices. As such, you will be expected to replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have background experience in cleaning or housekeeping within aged care or hospitality. A friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team are essential, as is availability to work various shifts across different days.

You will need to hold valid working rights in Australia, complete a police check, and provide evidence of Covid-19 vaccination. Additionally, you may be required to obtain a flu vaccination.
