Product Governance Specialist

The Product Governance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from development to delivery. This includes ensuring that all products meet the required standards and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns and leads the organization performing defect management and change requests.
  • Governs defects and changes, integrating different teams working in specific functional areas.
  • Works with Archetype Leads (ALs) and Business Unit Leads (BLs) to ensure connection between SAP CoE and Global Business Process Owners.
  • Involves with the Technology team, focusing on release management and development.
  • Collaborates with Project Management team to align project preparation work and provide changes delivered for projects.
  • Structures and maintains relationships with ALs, BLs, and their counterparts within SAP CoE.
  • Ensures governance and adherence to guidelines, including customer requirements preparation and deliverables.
  • Manages Solution Architects, suppliers of technical deliverables, Defect Managers, and related suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions with a global view and thorough experience in specific Hitachi Energy business processes.
  • Strong decision-making and issue resolution skills, negotiation, and consensus creation abilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills, ability to represent business interests in IT implementation projects.
  • Cross-functional understanding of Hitachi Energy business best practices and strategic direction.
  • Fluent English language skills and good interpersonal and communication skills.
