Senior Data Integration Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration Specialist to join their team on a transformative project within the banking sector. This is a contract role based in Sydney, with an initial duration of 6 months and a competitive rate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data integration workflows using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). You'll work with cloud-based data sources, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data delivery and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing data integration workflows
  • Creating and maintaining data mappings and transformations
  • Monitoring and optimizing ETL jobs
  • Working with databases such as Teradata, Oracle, and SQL
  • Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and developers
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data issues

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC
  • Strong expertise in cloud-based data integration and ETL/ELT processes
  • Proficiency in Teradata, Oracle, and SQL with the ability to write complex queries
  • Familiarity with UNIX shell commands is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
