Job OverviewThis exciting opportunity is for a Highly Skilled Government Advisory Lawyer to join our well-regarded team. As a key member of our Government Advisory team, you will focus on providing merits review services to a Commonwealth Government agency.
In this role, you will have the responsibility for drafting summaries of evidence and statements of issues, assisting and attending case conferences and hearings, conducting directions hearings, drafting litigation strategies, and complex statutory interpretation.
About YouTo be considered for this role, you will have approximately 1-3 years post-qualification experience, ideally with government advisory work experience and a strong interest in administrative law and statutory interpretation.
You may have a background working in government and looking to make your first move into a law firm or be doing similar work in another firm seeking a new opportunity.
Your skills should include strong drafting skills, excellent communication skills, and a collegiate approach.
