We are seeking a skilled Design Assistant to collaborate with our design team in the development of innovative and high-quality products. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept Development:
  • Support designers in the creation and execution of future concepts and product designs.
  • Assist with seasonal colour and textile print developments.
  • Design Project Management:
  • Prepare work requests for new style prototypes, development packs and Tech Data sheets.
  • Liaise with garment technicians on work requests and follow up on sample developments.
  • Research and Development:
  • Use creative forecast services, magazines, colour authorities, websites, and market analysis to assist in providing information for trend directions, storyboards, and project work.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate and develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams and international sourcing teams.
  • Project Presentations:
  • Prepare quality presentations and sales tools for internal range showings, sales conferences, retail range showings.
Requirements:
  • A degree in fashion design.
  • An understanding of fit and construction.
  • Intermediate to High level experience in Excel and Adobe Creative Suite essential.
  • Curiosity and team player capability.
  • Packaging development/componentry awareness.
  • Previous exposure to PLM system (preferred).
  • Proven track record in similar design/product related role.
  • Passion for building, developing and optimising process and practice with sustainability and community in mind.
