Youth Justice oversees the statutory supervision of children and young people in contact with the justice system in Victoria.

This role operates within a dynamic environment requiring flexibility, adaptability, sound judgment, and effective action.

  • Support the provision of Youth Justice information, including Freedom of Information requests, subpoenas, information sharing schemes, and DJCS' Justice and Assurance Review Office.
  • Monitor the Youth Justice Directorate inbox and the Community Incidents inbox, supporting the Senior Project Officer in responding, triaging, and prioritizing work.

To be successful, you'll need experience in public sector administration and knowledge of government processes.

A tertiary qualification in public administration or a similar field is desirable.
