Project Engineer Opportunity

CGC Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join a National specialist Contractor on a challenging project in regional Australia.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of civil construction experience, with prior experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Civil Contractor self-performing works.

The project involves Deconstruction/Demolition, Detailed Excavation, Asbestos & Hazardous Waste Remediation, and Site Preparation Works, with a project duration of at least 2 years.

The ideal candidate will be a team leader, contractually very switched on, and have the capacity to make key decisions that will affect critical project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project team to deliver civil construction projects between $2ml - $200ml
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least 3 years civil construction experience
  • Prior experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Civil Contractor self-performing works
  • Project delivery experience on civil construction projects between $2ml - $200ml
  • Australian permanent resident
