About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled ICT Technical Officer to join our team at McLean Farms. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective assistance to our end users, ensuring the smooth operation of our Information Communication Technology (ICT) systems across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ICT support requests through our Service Desk system, providing timely and effective assistance.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems to keep operations running smoothly across our various sites.
  • Support MS Office and other key applications, ensuring our users can work efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain system security, backups, and the ICT Asset Register.
  • Assist with physical setups and participate in exciting ICT projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proactive, with a keen interest in learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Previous experience in IT support or customer service is a plus.
