Primary Mental Health Practitioner

This role is within a mobile assertive treatment team, providing coordinated services to consumers diagnosed with severe and enduring mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide contemporary mental health practice to support recovery and well-being of consumers.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Conduct assessments and interventions to promote independence and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of consumer interactions and progress.
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or social work, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- An unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence (P2 licence acceptable).
- Demonstrated competencies in contemporary mental health practice.
- Demonstrated experience working with mental health consumers with complex presentations.
Successful applicants will have a strong understanding of contemporary mental health practices, including the principles of recovery-oriented care. They will be able to work effectively with consumers, families and carers, and will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
