Located in Canberra, ACT, we are seeking an experienced lawyer to fill the role of Assistant Manager, Legal Services. As part of our Governance and Legal Services Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice across a range of areas including contractual and procurement activities, employment issues, copyright and IP matters, privacy queries, and freedom of information requests.

About the Role
  • Advise on complex and sensitive matters, collaborating closely with stakeholders from various business units and external partners.
  • Support the development of training programs and guidance materials to build legal awareness across the Museum.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where creativity and flexibility are valued.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer interested in in-house counsel work to contribute to the success of the National Museum of Australia.

Eligibility
  • A law degree from an Australian tertiary institution or equivalent.
