About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiation Therapist to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre Canberra. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiation therapy planning and treatment services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective radiation therapy planning and treatment services to patients.
  • Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
  • Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient centric and collaborative approach.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic, motivated, and quick to adapt in a supportive environment. You will have a strong patient focus and be able to treat all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA Registered Radiation Therapist with ACT Radiation Use Licence or ability to obtain.
  • Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire the trust and confidence required to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to, the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.

Our dedicated, multidisciplinary team are committed to understanding each patient's individual needs and supporting them throughout their treatment journey.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive remuneration in line with the new MOU.
  • 5 weeks annual leave, PD days, and allowance.
  • Full-time (9 day fortnight) position with a Monday-Friday business hours.
  • Relocation support for moving to Canberra.
