Highly Classified Tech Role

This role involves working at secret and later top-secret levels of security clearance, joining a helpdesk for a globally renowned private business associated with the Australian Government.

Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply. Baseline or NV1 clearance is preferred.

As a contract employee, there's potential for becoming a permanent member of the organisation in the future.

With security clearance, you'll gain access to other similar roles in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot moderately complex delivery systems or network issues and escalate problems as necessary.
  • Assist with basic computing delivery systems configuration management.
  • Ensure all documentation is current and aligns with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and respond to tasks notified through the IT Service Desk.

About You:

  • At least 2 years' experience in PC Support, with Windows 10 expertise.
  • A working knowledge and experience with PC hardware and peripheral equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance as required.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Certificate Level qualifications in IT and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to undertake ad-hoc tasks out of hours and be available for on-call duties if required.
  • Driver's license and ability and willingness to travel to remote sites if required.
