About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Capricornia Correctional Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to adults accommodated in the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans to promote the mental health, well-being, and safety of clients
- Provide case management and interventions to address complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Provide supervision and support to provisional psychologists
Requirements
- Eligible for registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in evidence-based assessment and intervention for adults with complex mental health needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures related to correctional services
