Job Opportunity: APS6 Performance Reporting Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and develop skills in performance reporting, strategic coordination, and program management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of corporate plans, annual reports, and performance information in portfolio budget statements.
  • Provide advice and guidance on developing performance measures in line with the Commonwealth Performance Framework.
  • Contribute to the department's integrated business planning process.
  • Provide secretariat support to the Performance Reporting Sub Committee.
  • Draft and coordinate reports and briefing materials for executives.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to prepare documents for various audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability, initiative, and drive to achieve work outcomes independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to think strategically and analyze information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan, prioritize, and manage competing priorities.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in strategic coordination and program management.
