Your Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be a valued Educator responsible for delivering high-quality practices to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children. Your role will involve interacting with and effectively supervising children while collaborating with your team to provide a top-notch education and care service. A key aspect of this position is to recognize and support the unique strengths, needs, and interests of each child while fostering a culture of safety in alignment with PCYC Queensland values.
Qualifications and Skills:
- No formal qualifications are required for this position.
- Qualified Educators must possess a minimum Certificate III qualification in a relevant field related to working with children. Acceptable study areas may include: behavioral science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.
- Experience in the OSHC or long day care sector is desirable.
- Ability to address the needs and concerns of children to ensure quality service meets established standards.
- A strong desire to thrive in a supportive workplace.
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or be able to obtain one) is desirable.

A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is mandatory. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
