Practice Leadership Opportunity

Nova for Women and Children is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our leadership team as Practice Lead on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice, leadership and training to our team leaders and case workers to enhance our capability to deliver exceptional client-centred services in line with best practice, funding requirements and our values.

The role reports directly to the CEO and Board of Management, working closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and professional development within the organization.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice, leadership and training to team leaders and case workers.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with team support, feedback, mentoring and coaching.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex and challenging cases.
  • Lead the implementation and adherence to Australian Excellence Standards (ASES) to achieve accreditation.

About You

  • A minimum of five years experience in a practice and/or clinical role.
  • Experience and skills in leadership and practice development at an individual and team level.
  • Excellent understanding of issues facing highly vulnerable women and children, including homelessness and domestic violence.
  • Ability to make decisions regarding case direction and risk management.
  • Advanced skills in supporting case worker skill development in areas of practice and compliance.
