About this role:

We are seeking skilled electricians to install and commission electrical systems in Brisbane.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a critical Australian infrastructure project that will reduce emissions and improve the environment.

As an electrician, you will ensure the successful installation and commissioning of electrical systems, adhering to local building codes and safety regulations.

Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with site safety rules and procedures
  • Commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment
  • Inspecting, testing, adjusting and commissioning equipment to satisfy governing standards
  • Demonstrating high-quality fault-finding skills and ability to troubleshoot autonomously
  • Liaising with other discipline teams to undertake commissioning and start-up activities safely
  • Performing electrical equipment testing and monitoring
  • Performing electrical isolations/de-isolations of equipment
  • Maintaining commissioning records through CCMS generated FTRs and Dynamic Commissioning Procedures
  • Providing technical advice on all electrical equipment
  • Installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution and control systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, identifying root causes and undertaking effective repair and maintenance procedures
About You:

We are looking for someone with a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent, along with current electrical tickets. Experience in live brownfield environments such as oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, power stations or LNG sites, as well as familiarity with LOTO and Permit to Work systems, would be highly regarded.
