Occupational Therapy Team Leader

Welcome to a dynamic opportunity with our Allied Health team. As an experienced Occupational Therapy Team Leader, you will play a key role in driving excellence and innovation across our services.

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical expertise in occupational therapy. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a skilled OT team, delivering advanced care, and ensuring best practice in line with Occupational Therapy Australia, AHPRA, ethical codes, and SJGHC policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical occupational therapy services to client groups with complex needs.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and family meetings.
  • Use evidence-based practice clinical outcome measures and patient feedback for satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities.
  • Prioritize and delegate duties of occupational therapy caseloads for self and supervised caregivers.
  • Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA. Experience in a senior clinical position, particularly in a highly specialized area of practice, is essential.
