We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our client, a national builder with a strong reputation for delivering large and diverse projects throughout Australia. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of a $80m commercial development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to site meetings and work collaboratively with upper management to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage the engineering team, setting out individual responsibilities, assisting with development, and ensuring overall team performance.
  • Provide leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
  • Review project documents, including estimates, design drawings, proposals, and contracts, to ensure compliance with management's requirements.
  • Stakeholder and resource management, ensuring relevant labor is on site to deliver key project objectives and maintaining quality throughout.

Requirements

  • A stable track record of delivering similar-sized projects for a local commercial construction head contractor.
  • A trade or tertiary qualification in construction.
  • Strong software skills in programs such as Procore, Jobpac, and MS suites.
  • Compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
