
Legal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled legal specialist to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working on front-end construction/infrastructure matters and be able to draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, including Australian Standards, Residential Building Contracts, Consultancy Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, and ECI Agreements.
- Advising clients on contract procurement strategies and assisting with contractual claims and interpretation.
- Providing regulatory compliance advice on security of payment claims, DBP Act, RAB Act compliance, and residential and commercial building industry licensing requirements.
- Contributing to team and business growth through delivering articles, external webinars, and internal training sessions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a reputable legal environment with demonstrated experience working on front-end construction/infrastructure matters.
- Brilliant attention to detail, prioritizing effectively, and focusing on what matters.
- Ability to work independently, own their work, and be capable of adapting to changing circumstances.
- Collaborative and adaptable nature.
